Actually, i agree. My E36M3 may be tied for best sounding M3 i've heard.

After the second E46M3 i even mildly like the way that sounded. Rogue rasp pipe, 3" center section, SS Race rear section. Sounded pretty decent once warmed up.

But doesn't compare to the E36 or E92 as far as 3 Series Ms go.
