I lived at Clearwater Beach, FL and that happened all the time so people get non special models and make them seem like they are to appeal cooler or having more money.

Ah that explains why there was nobody in sight. It was like seeing a unicorn in the wild hahaha. Been seeing a lot more E92s around Vallejo. Never thought id see a wagon. Looks like all you need is exhaust.

I think that may in fact be a BMW option. I've seen a couple diesel 3 series wagons that have identical M gear on it (M badge with M Performance on the side). Talked with one of them up at the track and he said it was a factory offering. Didn't dig into it too much, but maybe that is "real"?
