That was a really bad lap, as most drivers improved at that same time (even mediocre ones like STR). The trackconditions were favourable.

Max is medicore and now that his car isn't 1 minute a lap quicker he's been losing races with equal machinery. Lando is a step below Carlos and he's still putting so much heat on Max, that he's reverted to Crashstappen.

Love seeing the meltdowns as Ham grabbed two wins in a car thats easily 3-4 fastest. If Max was in the Mercedes this year he would be worse than Russell and probably never even sniff the podium.

Well , that's what McLaren has shown in the last 4-5 races .

They are super fast in FP , QF and race ...

But as we know : The McLaren pit and race strategy can really s@ck...

Today Lando was 0.35 sec. faster than MAX .
And that's sea of time on a short track like Zandvoort .

BTW : Today I expected to see more from the Benz boys ...

Devastating lap by Lando today. Should be a great race tomorrow. Seems like practice running was limited to due rain and I guess, fire, so I have no idea where people stack up on race simulations?? I'll pick Max to win to make the hometown fans happy.

It's the improvement that Horner was waiting from Checo, don't forget that all teams sandbag once in a while even when they say they are unlikely to improve, fans are basically led up the garden path with what is really going on.
