This year I decided to renovate my crappy home office to a nicer home office. As a result my productivity has remained relatively the same.

Before and after pictures of my home office. We moved into a new build in October 2022 and have been in the process of completing the touches of our home since. Walls were originally white, as was the cabinets, doors and trim. Too white. We softened the house with paint. The first series of pictures was just after we painted and after my desk arrived. I had always wanted a brick warehouse wall in my home office so this was the perfect opportunity to put one in. The second series of pictures is how my home office looks today. The thin brick veneer was labor intensive but easy to apply. It transformed my office to what I had always envisioned. Makes a perfect backdrop for the Cubs World Series shadowbox my wife had made for me for Christmas 2016.
