According to WVF, Anna has also in the past used them a lot states the chairman, Tiina Antturi states.

"As an inside joke they started this. They came up with the topic. We got the call a month ago asking if this many goats can be done by Anna".
As a history, they had a halloween costume contest and the two winners were donated a oat each for an additional prize. The success was such a huge one, they decided to extend this to SS.
HS (the paper) didn't reach Anna to comment on this, and WVF doesn't naturally want to give any information on their donors, especially when Anna has asked to be kept out of it.

To WVF Anna told (the image shit above, added that this kind of shit is also not usual press for the WVF)
All in all the collection has been a huge success. instead of 2k, they've tripled it. that's a 120 goats.
The thread on the usa based forum is full of hilarious comments about the campaign (and way, way off topic...) And yup, they linked us!
The handle Shoei writes...

"120 Goats?! Let's be thankful we don't need to name them all..."

Some criticism has risen also. For example the handle bimmette writes

"I Applaud the efforts, but only a small part here donated. It feels like for upper middle class people this isn't a lot to brag about."

Anyway, HS is the biggest paper back home, but others have published it too. the HS linked us directly.
