LOL. Yeah the sis has an attitude for sure. I LOL'd when she was eating a steak with Dexter at his apartment and she said it tasted like asshole and he should order a pizza.

No, I did not know that. That's crazy. I just read they had worked things out with each other and were able to work together until the end. I learned something new today!

Look it gets a bit too weird and a bit too much drama with the sister, but his final decision, as in his solution to his ongoing issue and that of his son, was solved in a way a man would solve it if he had no other choice. There's sensibility in his final decision.

I didn't find issue with it. It left the door open for another season. I think the premise could survive a second season, but anything more than that might be too much.

I don't care for the social sensitivity angle, the acting is absolutely appalling, they are all DREADFUL. Why native asian actors do the whole bollywood hands thing whist looking permanently surprised is beyond me, nearly unwatchable.

But the premise is good and we watched it all.

Got around to watching Zombieland Double Tap. It was good and had a lot of laughs. Can't help but think Sedan_Clan probably enjoyed it.

I re-watched it a few weeks ago. I'd watch a 3rd movie if they made one.

Saw the new Dune last night. Never read the book. Never saw the '80s movie. It wasn't bad but I can't help but think of it as being like one of those odd '90s Calvin Klein cologne commercials that just happened to be about 2hrs long w/ about 30min of story and dialogue interleaved (& 5min of credits). I'll watch the next one when it comes out, though

4.5/5. Great acting. Beautiful scenes (shot in TN). Honestly, best flick I’ve seen in some time…course WW84 set the bar underwater.

Army of Thieves on Netflix. One part of the story was pretty lame (you'll know it when you see it) but overall a decent watch.

The Wrong Missy on Netflix. Actually extremely funny, give it more than 15mins and you'll be happy. My wife is a fairly serious person and loved it.

Sahara on Prime, just a decent older quick movie all around.

Screened Finch last night - good film. Another Tom Hanks acting master-class. He'll be nominated for an Oscar but we'll see what the competition is. A 21st Century film driven entire (like Dune and others) by CGI. but it works.
