(seriously like to think that we give our kids opportunities we wish we had--he picked up a stick at 8 mos. and visited the HHOF at the same age)

Size 6/7 (that is a small shoe)

Nice! One thing I'll always be thankful for was my parents starting me in hockey around 1 / 2ish, still play to this day.

My mom used to record games and back when I did instructional skating and converted the VHS's to a DVD about 5 years ago. The puck would go one way and the group would go after it, while I tagged behind, would make it to where the puck is, and then the other kids would end up going the other way, so the whole video was me playing chase the other kids with my jersey past my ankles.

Probably for me to not get older than 13 where I turned into an asshole. I was a grateful asshole, but still an asshole nonetheless. At least it was only a 8 year tirade.

Take lots of videos when he's out there. Watching our home videos really takes me back, and it will for him too. Especially for how easy and cheap it is to record things these days.
