A good lap ? It was a crazy pole lap from MAX full of risks and over the limits. It was actually Russian roulette !
He knew . And everyone knows the Ferrari Jet-Mode on the straights is unreal .This means other drivers are losing time on the straights . That's why MAX took crazy risks (as you can see) coming out from a turn and flyby at 300+ km/h with only one Inch from the wall . Just to win some time from what he lost on the straight !
Things can go terrible wrong ! Let us hope from not ...

What got me was that later Ferrari was telling Seb 'you are faster than him' yet the jet mode just wasn't quite there with Seb's car and Toto was offering Lewis MORE power to play even tho Lewis was saying he was losing 7/10ths or something a lap! with minutely damaged side carbon.I'm thinking that Max instead of Seb would have been faster than the Ferrari and would have caught up to the Merc...Honda SUPER power.
I am purchasing expensive Autosport magazine on Thursday to see if they have any more insight on this

FI racing has reached an all-time low when Drive of the Day is awarded based upon....

It’s the Dutch fans that vote en mass for Max, that’s the only reason he gets that ‘award’. It’s totally useless as it’s not rewarding talent, or a good race.

True that...fastest car gets pole is hardly News at 10.
If Max was half the driver he thinks he is, he would be doing way better than the results he gets.
He needs to stop listening to Jos, dump the Schumacher and Senna playbooks, drive the car without hitting anyone else and stop whining when things don't go his way.

Yeah the cars are faster. There are far better qualifiers that VER who got his first pole during his fifth year at F1. But again, a good qualifier isn't always a good racer!

His Father is Dutch, He calls himself dutch and has dual nationality correct?
