I've done Intermittent Fasting and Lean Gains in the past when it was becoming popular.

But I have become so conditioned to eating every few hours...I just dropped it.

Basically I eat when I am hungry. I see it like this...your body let's you know when it's thirsty or when you need to go to the bathroom. So let it dictate when it needs food.

Now there can be a fine line out of eating from boredom, or even being dehydrated can cause hunger symptoms. But I have a specific set of macros that I have for each meal when I do get hungry...and the numbers of those meals change on a daily basis.

I let my workouts setup my eating patterns. On leg days, I may eat 7-8 meals as my body is recovering...on rest days, I may only eat 3-4 meals.

At the end of the week...it typically averages out around the same number of calories to keep my weight constant.

I don't eat when I'm hungry really more upon my perceived need which works pretty well not particularly fat just in growth phase so add more calories. Felt like giving it a try but not my thing. I just can't commit to going full fat ass to spur growth which feels like what I need. Lee priest style.

I'm the same way. My training partner year ago told me I needed to chill out on trying to stay within a certain body-fat and just put on weight if I wanted to gain any "real" size.

Needless to say any calorie he eats goes to pretty much all muscle. If I get fatter than 12%, then the benefits of how that calorie gets stored go way down and I can get "blurry" looking really quick.

Plus as I have gotten older, I'm just not into the size thing anymore. It's hard enough to get stuff that fits me now, plus I just think it's healthier to stay leaner.

In the past if I dropped below 195lbs...I would panic and feel like I was shrinking to nothing. Napoleon complex I guess.

Now I routinely go down to the low 180's in the summer. It's all an illusion anyway. I get leaner and people at the gym tell me I look bigger.

I don’t bulk or cut, I focus on staying in shape year round. Gaining quality muscle through programming. I stay consistent with my physic and fitness. As an older guy still in the game I personally feel functioning at a optimal level on a consistent basis is most beneficial for my health and longevity.

Like 1MM I just can’t go full fat ass. Plus I live in Florida, which has more influence on being in shape year round.

I try to do the same. Let my programming dictate everything...and I never go above 12%. I do all my bulking/cutting in the 8%-12% range.

Generally can see vascularity in chest, shoulders legs while working out. That's just my normal waking around weight not cutting.

Ran Saturday (no knee braces) and instead of waiting until the end of the run to do sprints, I started incorporating them into the run itself. I later found out that telephone poles are spaced QUITE a bit farther apart on the open country roads than in neighborhoods!

Sunday after doing my chores and filling her car with oil and changing the clocks, I announce to wife I'm going to the gym. The look!

What do you guys feel about the amount of waste generated by going to the Gym, both in plastic bottles for supplements, and the fact that a built human consumes 2-4x the amount of food than a normal human.

Yeah that really weighs heavy on me lately. Go talk to the fat people, who generates waste?

I wash an re-use all my supplement bottles and all my supplements come in bags which are poured back into the plastic container I bought.

Plus I'm only 200lbs or so, so I don't feel that I eat that much more food than a normal person.

In fact I think the "normal" for most of the population is fat and they consume way more food than I do.

Dude, what are you on? I achieve that type of vascularity only during and right after my workout. Looking good.

I bought gloves this weekend. You all may commence my hazing.

Grabbing the girlfriends ass and snagging lace on her panties with my weight hooks is not cool.
