Well...more McLaren people jumped ship to Ferrari.....this might be a good thing?
Ferrari doesn't afraid of change, how they replace drivers (Alonso for Raikkonen), demoted Chris Dyer....and hired few ex-McLaren guys....

Pat Fry is supposedly well regarded in F1, so let's hope that he can deliver as a TD.
An interesting note - it appears that technical director salaries are in line with (and can exceed) driver's salaries these days! Rumors are that Newey is paid on the order of $10+ million/year. |

I agree with this - I like Domenicali's personality (he's much more open and talkative than Todt ever was) but he seems to be making error after strategic error over the last few years.
I'd be surprised if he is still around in 2012 if Ferrari does not bounce back and win the title this year (incredibly, incredibly unlikely). The real question is, who is fit to replace him? |

Brawn is commited to Merc GP. I'm pretty sure it was also one of the terms of sale when he sold the outfit.

Thats not quite true. Before Schumachers 7 year reign over F,1 Ferrari was actually in quite a bad way. Brawn, Schumacher, and Rory Byrne turned that outfit around.

Ross Brawn is not going anywhere, he was part of the deal for Mercedes to take Brawn GP over.
I do believe Brawn was earning in excess of $5m at Ferrari and made a handsome $50m+ from his ownership of Brawn GP. I think Ferrari have lost the plot a little. Just having Alonso is not going to win them the Championship, they need someone who can lead the technical side of things, lets hope that man is Fry. |
