Seriously. If I were that cop I would have went off taser blasting people. Maybe even shoot a few knee caps.

Sure the cops tackled the guy. While he was RESISTING being handcuffed they were giving him a few jabs to get him to comply. Nothing wrong there. It's not like they were stomping the guy out or anything.

US cops would have went crazy if that happened at a sporting event here. I'd love to see some Euro soccer hooligans try that here.

If I were those cops I would be counting my blessings, it could have been a lot worse. Police abuse their power all of the time, happens every day, now a cop gets his head caved in and everyone is up in arms. Maybe the cop will think twice before pulling his nightstick next time.

Also forgot hows it called but those cops got that police chase behavior syndrome or whatever its called. Like when they chase someone and get all mad and exited, and when they finally catch the person they go batshit crazy on him.

Just today, I was at the post office and a cop was complaining about his package being opened and the contents being stolen and he made a point of saying "I'm a police officer. I can put two and two together better than most people." It took everything I had to stifle my laugh when I was right next to him mailing some stuff. Really? Really? Law enforcement improves your logic and reasoning skills? I'm sure all forms of police misconduct are just so logical then!?

It's just another occupation. No different than someone at McDonald's serving burgers or a doctor operating on your sick kid. Get over it LEOs... The risks you take are proportionate to your salary.

The people saying that the guy that got bashed in the face by the baton deserved it are fucking stupid. Yeah, he went on the fucking field, but who gives a shit? They pinned him to the ground. They should have cuffed him and ended it there. There was no need to bash the guy in the face.

They all made it out fine, by the way. The guy on the floor at the end was unconscious for 10 minutes and that's the extent of his injuries according to the news caster. You just don't mess with us Portugese, I guess.

Watch the video. They were TRYING to hand cuff him. He was resisting. So much so that when the crown intervened the offender got up, grabbed his sign and ran off... WITH OUT hand cuffs.

I'll keep an eye out for the bad ass portugese thugs......
