dont understand why people use torrents when they can download from fast servers like rapidshare etc..

because it isnt free, I need to get an account but I havent decided on which one has the most files, way to many file sharing websites

I had rapidshare for a year.. split it with a few friends came out to be like $10 for the entire year. We haven't gotten a new one this year because you're right there are way too many file hosting sites. I'd say the prominent one now is fileserve.

This is exactly what i do, after splitting it with a few friends it becomes worth every penny.

As bHd said, Fileserve is definitely the most popular right now.
