Shipping car from NJ to OH
Hey Guys,
I just picked up a 2010 335i Coupe on Lease Trader. I need to ship it from New Jersey to Ohio this week and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or could recommend a shipper. Thanks, Mark |

Purchase a one way ticket on your favorite/cheapest airline. Drive it home, Cleveland to NJ is 6 to 8 hours depending on route. Nothing beats bonding with you car for 6 hrs. I did the same think and drove from Philly to Columbus, 8 hrs on the PA turnpike.

It's a lease... he might be limited to a mileage limit.. so..... (but the mileage overage costs might be the same as shipping cost.)

500 miles , ~8 hours, why not drive it back? won't cost more than $100 in gas.
I can't imagine a shipping company would be less than $500-800 (guessing)

Drive it back and take the "off the beaten path" roads. Enjoy!

Learned how to drive stick on my M on my way from Chicago to the East coast. +1 for the car bonding time.

I used www.uship.com and the guy that won my bid was BigCity. Pretty good guy to use.
My car went from a BMW dealer in MD to Buffalo NY. Cost me about $600 for it, which was pretty much the standard price I was being quoted. |
