Nope not at all. I do think the taillights and overall shape of the rear is a carbon copy of the B8 A4's though, minus some curvature and the rear diffuser. They're stupidly similar looking.

I know. Too bad whoever's managing VAG thought it would be a good idea to tell De'Silva to design basically the same car ten times over and spread it across the VW/Audi range.
Being designed by the same person means nothing. Its whoever's making the calls at the top levels that decides where a brand's image should be going. I guess they want to make the Jetta look like the poor man's A4.

Obviously that person has their own idea of what a car should like. I dont think it looks bad for $16k.

Funny that since apart from a redesigned nose and tail and A4 Cabrio interior the Seat Exeo is an A4, the A4 production line was moved from Germany to Spain. Seat needed a midsize saloon and wagon Audi had one they didn't nead anymore, hello Exeo. |

The new Audi lineup is a joke. The A4 and A6 are nearly indistinguishable.

You could say the same for previous-gen Benzes, current and previous-gen Audis, and like you said, current-gen Bimmers. They're one brand creating design unity and recognition. Not comparable to VWs looking like Audis.
