Sweet pics. Not sure if i like this car or not looks wise. And if your pics didn't sway me....that's not a good sign.

Very nice pics, but the car is not my cup of tea.

All the reviews I've read put the new gen STi in the 'not worth the premium' category over the WRX. That said, all Subbies look a little weird, but yes to the 5-door.....but in plain WRX form. I've actually been pondering one to replace my old Jeep as a winter vechicle/hauler/Moupe companion.

having driven both wrx's and STi's, there is a massive difference in other ways.
yes, they have the same 1/4 mile time, similar interiors and exteriors, but that's where the similarities end. the transmissions are worlds apart, and the S drive stuff is pretty fascinating. clutch feel is very different, and 6 gears are more usefull, though slow the car down slightly when compared to the 5 speed. they are just built so differently in my opinion. I wouldn't touch a WRX again. |

my sister is on her third subaru, her husband has one and is looking for another, my dad has had 2, my mom has one and is looking for another after test driving a bunch of "comparable" cars and is leaning back towards subaru again. and the only reason i don't have one right now is because i have a 135 and a jeep that i can use off road and for towing. but my old subi was less then 3 inches off the ground and i was passing stuck pickup trucks with 4wheel drive like they were parked. |

nice shots.
the rear end of that car looks even worse in person. If you're doin the WRX, do it right and get the hatch. I have a secret crush on the WRX hatchback, shhhh.
