i laugh at this shit. completely a waste. I will never need that much power. that shits for SERVERS, not computers. no1 will ever reach a 20% threshold lol. but, i guess this is how technology will keep going. more stuff, more useless stuff. ill stick with my dual core. Plus, i rather take that money and buy another 30" moniter. i already got dual 24" monitors, and a 30" would look sick in the middle.

You can and will use that power. If you had just gotten a new 386 you would think that todays chips are 10x more power than you'd ever need. You'd be wrong.

msn featured an article about INTEL's nail-sized chip with i think 8 or 16 cores inside. so as far as companies releasing multiple core processors, it doesnt surprise me anymore. a little crazy though.
