So today I went to the police station to get a cop to check off my fix-it ticket for front window tints (I had 17% all around). The only guy available was the front window cop who takes all the calls. First he goes:

"So this is for tints?"

Me: "yeah"

"Did you have them in the front?"

Me: "yeah"

*shakes head* "What were you thinking?"

......what the hell am i suppose to say? uhhh...hopefully i wasn't gonna get caught?

So he signs it off and we go outside so he can check the car....but since I parked it a bit up the street, we just stay by the station and he looks at it from far away....

"Which one is your car?"

Me: "The black BMW....up the street"

"What kind?"

Me: ....."BMW".....

"I know...but which model?"

Me: "325i"

"The one without the front license plate?"

Me: CRAP!! "......yeah, that's the one"

"You know...usually I don't sign these off for BMW's...(?!?!? i'm laughing at this point)....but I'll take your word that you got your tints removed, and trust that you'll put your license plate back on. I gotta get back and take calls."

Whew!! Escaped this one. I just got a fix-it for no front license about a month ago, and did not want another one for it!

just as i was going in....about 10 cops suddenly busted out of the door running across the street to the park. don't know what happened...but when i left there was an ambulance there.

just another day in the tenderloin.

you should try the richmond station. last time i went there because of a license plate cover, they didn't even check and signed it off.

these stories remind me of how much freedom i have here in trinidad. im fucking driving around with 2 DUTCH liscense plates. and nothing. technically the cops here dont give a rats ass about cars. they are trying to crackdown the whole drug thing. we dont have hard drugs here (lab drugs). if u go ask ne1 for em, ull get fucking slapped and beat up. we keep it nice with Miss Jane. thats all thats on the cops minds. fuck it, trinidad doesnt even use fingerprints yet!

*chuckles* i asked an american whats so great about being american (and keep in mind this guy is the most patriotic twat ive ever met). he says: "America is the land of the Free! and freedom shall prevail". i said: "You want to think about what you just said?". Homeboy didnt even get it.

You cant do 180KM/H passing a police station in america and get away with it. here? hah. we be hitting 200+. the cops dont do shit. in america? effin 5 mph over the limit and WAM! ticket.

srry, dont mean to offend anyone, as i love america. but sometimes the bullshit they say isnt really how it is. but, thats what keeps a great nation going: politics, and lies. (and FYI, im an american citizen, and proud of it. just im much happier in trinidad. by a longshot. fuck it, make it by a headshot! )
