Finally Back on e90post After Being Banished for a Month

My password stopped working on this site about a month ago, and I FINALLY got back on today. I don't know what happened. I use a form filler utility to remember passwords, so it's not like I forgot my password or anything. Anyway, I tried the reset password tool probably half a dozen times over the weeks, but the reset email would never show up. Tried using the Contact Us page, too, but I never got a response from that either. Finally, after shooting an email to bmwexecutive and one more try at the Contact Us page yesterday (today?), two password reset emails showed up tonight. One didn't work, but the other did. So I'm finally back on. Geez! Anyway, thanks to whoever heard my pleas and fixed it.

Not a whole lot going on with the car since I was on last. It's really dirty (I am so ashamed) and I've racked up almost 9000 miles so far. I've been up to the Tail of the Dragon a couple more times, ran with a Porsche Cayman once in the north Georgia mountains, and went to a Car Control Course sponsored by the Peachtree Chapter of the BMW CCA. That was pretty fun. I also dropped in at an autocross the next day. I didn't get to drive, but I got to ride in a fellow's Z3 a couple times and that was fun (thanks Al!).

Oh, and one of my side skirts snapped out of place a little bit from the car control school where I whacked a cone or three. Luckily, I was able to pull it out a little bit to see how it fit together, and it snapped back in place again.

Dude, I'll need new tires soon. I'm going through this first set FAST.

Oh, and bmwexec, I can't believe the damage to your car. I read the whole post this morning at about 3am. Hope you got it fixed by now.

Anyway, there's a month's worth of activity summed up in a few short paragraphs. Not that I'm a super heavy fanatic user like, uh, Ninjaneer , but I'm glad to be able to post again.

Matt

Hey Matt, welcome back! I was actually starting to wonder where you went. New tires at 9000 miles only? Well I guess all the TotD rides have a hand in that! I'm at 13K, hoping to get as much life as I can out of these tires and so far they're still good.

I need Everytime I look at my post count ... everytime I procrastinate doing some other work or h/w... everytime I realize I've just refreshed the same pages in less than 15 seconds... But I continue to learn stuff

As far as I know. I may not post in every thread just to put my word in, but I read most everything and I haven't seen one post from him. This leads me to believe he is completely gone.

My friend and I wondered who's gray e90 that was at the autocross....guess it was yours. You should sign up for a future Peachtree BMWCCA autocross so we can have 3 e90's running.

Look at this thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=autocross for a video of Kev's runs in his '06 325.

Yeah, I plan on going to at least one autocross this summer. I'll be out of town for the one in May, but will hopefully be around for the next one.

Finally did a full detail on my car today, so it's clean again. Took forever to clean off the skid marks from the cones. Guess I'll have to try harder not to hit those. Ha!
