The thing is like butter, so capable, yet...so refined. The steering is damn sharp too, razor precision. Its hard to drive 335i steering after the Panamera (and this is on Pirelli winter tires, I assume steering will be sharper in the summer!)...its really hard to drive the 335i after...mostly because of the steering.
girlfriend loves it. I too think its a great looking car. Now that I got rid of the 335, I have a place for a P car. Only problem is deciding which one I want. Cayman S is nice, 911 may be a little too expensive, but I really like the base Panamera.

Would love to hear driving impressions (it is a big car) etc. I have an '11 Jetta as my beater. It will do most of the work. Panamera a good choice or wait for the 998 as a weekend fun car? Again love the 'mera. Its unique and at 74K,rather affordable.

Panamera is a daily driver not a weekend car.

Get the 991/998...if you intend to drive everyday...the Panamera is an amazing cruiser, the V6 is plenty fast for a car that weighs 100 KG more than a 335i (all magnesium alloy construction).

Panamera is a larger car, and feels it...its just so smooth and the steering precise, but its not an all out little tossable sports car. It is a nice family sedan. Driving impressions are as I posted...the V6 is plenty fast, with our speed limits I don't see you needing anything more; its best value, you're getting the Panamera while so many other people pay double for a Turbo.

Its driving is a league or two ahead of BMW...probably in the same league as Aston Martin and Ferrari were they to make a 4 door and yea, you're getting it for 90K...you won't find a Panamera 4 for less than 90 K...options add up fast and you do need a few for sure. No way you'll get it stripped. Porsche always gets you with the options.
