Um...
if you're not happy with your group of friends, REGARDLESS of your reason's for not being happy with them.. then they aren't great friends, and you should move on. If they were good friends, you'd be disapointed in them, and work hard to get them to change what they're doing, for themselves and not for you. That's what I do with my buddy and his cigarette habit. Matt |

I LOVE OT !!! To the poor kid who's friends have begun to smoke pot.... You are rediculous. Heres a little information. Do you know in nature, animals must adapt to their surroundings, if they don't it could result in their death. Hence the term "Natural Selection" I feel that humans are essentially animals and still fall under that term... You my friend, are going to have to "adapt", it does not nessecarily mean to start smoking, but at least be OK with them smoking, people are NEVER out to please you, you find ways to get entertained. If your friends are just ignoring you now and not giving you attention, then shame on you for getting upset. You must be real feminine

haha... alot of my friends smoke weed everyday... some people including me just smoke occasionally... when we don't have to pay of course . i prefer not to smoke though... escaping the pains that come with life is pretty lame. be a man and suck it up. for those who just say they like the feeling... its because that feeling is pure bliss and who wouldn't want to feel numb and happy all the time? but that excuse is essentially the escape... from the pains that come with living... just be there for them when they need you... but you don't have to participate...

pot
after all this is the members lounge so you get all kinds of critics and opinions in here. If your having a problem with your friends smoking reefer chances are you have said something, and they have said something back to you along the lines of "dude why do you care what we do?" or "your a pussy just hit this" or "stop being a tool, we dont need mother goose to tell us what we should and shouldnt do" whatever it is they have said to you they probably didnt really mean. If you dont like the way your treated then why bother wasting your time to convert them, they obviously have to indulge in something pathetic like getting high to deal with life. Having a drink, smoking pot, and doing other shit every once and awhile are just ways to have fun/escape, but when you see that it takes up someones life its just lame and pathetic. Either move on, join them, or sit back and watch them go down the drain theres really nothing else you can do man. |

If you don't like what they're doing, let them know. When they continue, and it makes you uncomfortable, stop hanging out with them. Very simple solution.
Ah, the pleasure of getting old and experienced. I have answers for all questions. :rocks: Any other difficult questions? |

Or go wack-off and releave some stress. I'm assuming you're pretty young if you're just seeing these "changes". Friends are gonna do things you don't like or aren't comfortable with, get use to it. If you think they're different or don't care to be around them anymore, you're both changing. Unfortunately in different ways. I'm 25 and it's taken me the last 3-5 years just to figure out how different things are now and how people change. More than half of my friends are married or engaged. While most of my friends have always seen eye to eye, sometimes we don't. Sometimes we step outside of ourselves, turn in to someone else for one split second and change things forever. Last September at my friends bachelor party I didn't like something that one of my friends did and I got furious, threw not one, but 2 full beers at him and then mouthed off. He still hasn't completely forgiven me. It kills me to this day that I've pretty much ruined my friendship with someone I considered a brother. Can we rebuild our friendship? Sure. But it'll never be what it was. I can forgive and forget, but he had such a rough childhood that he has trouble doing this. All I can say is that things happen for a reason. Whether we believe they should or not. Sometimes people have to go different ways to have new and different experiences. Just because we lose touch in these moments doesn't mean that you won't reconnect later. Sometimes your friendship wind up being stronger than before. Don't dwell on it too much. Just go on and do what is best for you. |
