2011 F150- ecoboost-DI/twin turbo...
you think the F150 will have similar HPFP prblem?

I just thought it was kinda kool that F150 is having twin turbo set up on their V6 on pick up trucks.

Just an FYI, ecoboost is currently being used on the new SHO as well as some other Ford vehicles with no HPFP issues so far. Seems like BMW is really the only company having so many problems.
And yeah, this engine should be awesome in the truck. Makes just as much power as the V8's but gets great mileage. Can't wait to see what tuners will do with them. Hopefully it turns out just like the N54 and we'll soon see 500+ whp. |

Don't know why but Porsche never had that problem with the 911 turbo.

They have the Raptor now... I don't think they'll bring back a lightning type truck for a while.
The Ecoboost looks interesting but I'm glad I have the last of the 5.4 engines. Even if the new engines are overall great there will still be bugs to work out. I have to admit the 6.2 engine would be nice... |

Wow, the "24 hours of Nascar" video is amazing. I can't believe how hard they ran that truck....just insane .
