How professional was this response?
First... yes, I did type out the wrong company I was addressing so that was my fault, but their response...
Yea, my fault about that initially, but it doesn't make me feel any better that a fairly large company like them would respond that way? Maybe I'm too optimistic in my thinking? I'm a noob.

Yeah, you're expecting too much. It'll take a bunch of approaches before you sell any images that way.

There's some humor to their response, and some sarcasm to yours. Well, at least that's what I'm getting from reading it. How professional was YOUR response? You could've very well just left it at the apology and asked for reconsideration for your original inquiry.
Don't get me wrong -- I'm a fan of your work and I'm not hating, and I don't read Import Tuner. |

Despite John's obvious mistake, I think their response should've been more professional if they want to be taken more seriously.

This is a little off topic. John, do you still do free photo shoots?

well look on the bright side they at least took the time to respond to you (not in the way you hoped). they probably took a look at your link but hated the fact you screw up their company name and busted your balls with that response.
don't let that discourage you and take it as a life lesson and move on.
