So why am I suffering painfully slow connections on my Verizon Aircard here at the MSP airport, while my AT&T iPhone is smoking along?

I have ATT since 07 when I switched to get the OG iphone, I hate ATT so much I am going to switch to verzion. I'm tired of being annoyed with my phone.

AT&T for me so far has been pretty good since I switched to them back in 2007 for the original iPhone. The only time I get crap reception is when I am on the auto train since it goes in the middle of no where. Before anyone says, " Verizon would be better" my moms verizon cell phone gets shit reception too on the train when it goes though the middle of no where.

The only thing that pisses me off about AT&T is that they charge of tethering. Verizon does as well, but still pisses me off. Especially with the new 2 GB tiered data structure, you would think they would love for you to tether for free so they can rape you on overage charges.

Depends where you are I believe. I get amazing service with AT&T here... both with my BB and iPhone. No dropped calls that I can remember, not even in my basement!

This. As much as I hate AT&T, the pending exodous and their new-found willingness to carry high-end Android devices (without neutering them first) has won me over for a while. I can't get shit for service in my place, but that's true for all carriers.
