Best point and shoot for video/audio

I recently purchased a Sony Cyber shot W370. It shoots great pictures but the audio is complete ass when recording a video. The bass is blown big time. I am going to take it back to Best Buy. I am wondering what camera some of you guys are using to make videos that have good audio. My old Sony F717 has some great audio but only records 320 x 240.

I just purchased the Canon SD4000. It does 720p HD video at 30 frames per second, and its light and small. I had the S90 for a few days but it was too cheap feeling. The only drawback is that it shuts down after 9 minutes or so, so you have to re start it.

How is the audio when shooting a video?

Surprisingly good. It filters out wind noise at the track very well and at a recent concert, the sound was really amazing. It was an acoustic concert, so I can't say how it will perform in a rock environment but it's pretty good. I'll post the vid to youtube if you want.

Hmmm...the Canon S90 is a highly regarded camera. I personally would go with that or the S95 if I wanted to splurge on a nice camera. Other than that the SD940is is pretty good and it's cheap. The SD780is, SD960is are good cameras too. The SD4000 is pretty new I believe so I haven't heard much about it.

That would be great if it's not too much trouble. Thanks!

I have a Sony Cyber shot F717 and a Sony Alpha A100. Both cameras are excellent. I just want a smaller camera to take anywhere. I ended up making a video with my F717. It's only 320 x 240 but the audio is great.
