let me share with you guys my situation. the two times that i clocked the high speeds were once 3am and 2am and there weren't cars around that's why i did this (high beams were on FYI) do you think i can actually do that speed and meneuver around cars? i don't think so.
yes, i hit something on the highway the day before and the foglamp is now inside the bumper (for the one who's been so concerned about high speeds, i was doing 60mph when i lost my foglamp)

needed to take longer to get up the the actual 155 but because i saw a car in front of me so i decided to slow down, and after that didn't get another chance to do it again

nice pics.
Personally i like to open up my car on 90/94 coming in from O'Hare around 3 or 4 am on a monday or tuesday. Ghost town. 4th and 5th gear..... It's like having your own personal grand prix course with some great very high speed turns, using all 5 lanes........ for about 15 miles then you can go down ohio, another road with nice high speed turns, do a u-turn at the end and run it again..... for real high speeds (5th and 6th gear) I would go out on i-88 past Aurora, there's some long straight away's, and i've seen very few cops there over the years. I'm not say'n you should go break the law, i'm just sayin.

thanks for the info, but i think it's gonna be quite a while before i do anything like that. FYI i didn't even think of speeding at the beginning, the speed just gradually sped up 110 (cause no cars were present) when i checked the speedo and i said to myself wtf let me just take it to the limit. so the next time i try this shit it's gonna have to be the same situation where there are totally no cars on the road and the idea coming to my mind

what highway were you on....294? If so, it is a 4-5 lane toll-way with very little traffic, and long straights...but there are a lot of cops there. Agreed with Chi-town, I-88 just W of Sugar Grove and before DeKalb is the sweet spot to let it rip. I got my motorcycle to 160mph there.
