Angry What should I do?

So i had my car towed on Friday for HPFP deal. So next day i got to pick it up Saturday from the sales department and my Ipod and spare keys are missing. The dealer of course tells me that they dont have a use it for it in services. I'm like you guys told me you drove it for 2 hours. So they told me to call the tow truck driver course he denies it also. I called my insurance company and they say i would have to pay $300 deductible and the max that they pay out is $200. So im out an ipod, spare key, and my car is still not working. What else can I do?

You just jinxed yourself

The the OP, dealership or towing company will not take responsibility for lost items. I suggest you move on and buy yourself a brand new shiny ipod.

I pretty much agree.

It should be common sense/practice to remove ALL ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE from your car before taking it in for service. And I'm hoping those spare keys were to your car. If they were why were they in your car? Not trying to be an ass, just asking.

+1, I realize when you're getting a tow, sometimes you forget things...but you learned your lesson, always double check!

You know, the spare key thing kind of worries me. Call me paranoid, but your car is most likely registered to your address, which would be easily accessed by anyone working in the service area...I'd make sure you put that bimmer in a garage at night. Just saying.

But, then again, it's pretty likely that the HPFP would fail as they're stealing it anyway, so don't worry about it, hahahaha jk.

Anyone need an I-pod, and spare BMW key? I can get you the address on the car for cheap! I-pod will be thrown in for free, lots of gay music on it including Justin Timberlake and Brittney Spears
