Actually, the RadarActive system does send live speed traps between the V1 users. If you are hooked in w/ the V1-iPhone Tx, the valentine one speed traps are reported to the network in real time (and placed on the map)... that's the main point...

live V1 network is in addition to the fixed speed traps (speed cameras, redlight cameras, etc)

My V1 is in the same place, top right of rear view mirror. Why? Because it is as high as it can possibly be and still cover both the front and back.

It also looks a hell of alot better than having a big black box in the middle of your windshield with a random coil wire hanging down and bouncing around.

There are certainly more stealth ways to install one, but for the effort/time/cost its pretty cheap on all accounts with a higher quality return.

You can't tell me this looks good.
