Yes, that's the idea. Unfortunately not many people seem to be interested in this sort of self appraisal. I understand peoples reticence to post such things in this forum however. On the other hand, you are anonymous.

Yea this popped up the day after an interview I had for a position I'm very interested in, basically my ideal career. While it didn't come up, I'm always prepared to talk weaknesses in these situations, and smart interviewing means you are willing to acknowledge something and provide a plan/evidence for how you are able to use it for your own advancement. Anyone can make themselves seem like the shit, but these days HR dept's are smarter than this. They can't afford to hire jackasses for a year to let them go.

strength -the ability to recover from procrastination at the last minute
weakness - procrastinating because I can afford to (see above) For example, earlier this week I ended up staying at work until 3 a.m. because I had an application to turn in that was due by "close of business," which would of been 8-10 hours earlier for most people at work (including myself).
