Good Car Video-Record System

Know any system to record car runs? Been using the ol' digicam + suction mount but I know that there are better ways to do this, can you guys suggest a better method?

I agree GoPro cameras are great. I have a GoPro HD. I mount it to my snowmobile helmet, and had it mounted to the windshield of a 4x4 I recently rented in Costa Rica.

aiptek HD camcorder and an extended mic to attach to the rear bumper. the best solution you can get.

from my research the go pro cams have a tendency to shut off mid session, the audio quality is poor, and there's really no good way to aim the camera before you head onto the track.
