9:04 p.m.: Welfare check
▶ A male student with lupus was reported as missing from Village Building 4. Checks OK.

11:43 p.m.: Alcohol contact
▶ An intoxicated male was reported as running from the police on his Razor scooter, heading toward the Main Gym.

12:12 a.m.: Welfare check
▶ An intoxicated female was seen vomiting at the Village Building 3. Checks OK.

12:48 p.m.: Battery
▶ A male with a moustache, sunglasses and blue spandex shorts was reported as hitting another male in the chest at the Spanos Athletic Training Facility. Field interview administered.

1:45 p.m.: Suspicious person
▶ An Asian male with a “bowl cut” and carrying binoculars was seen at Regents Road.

12:34 p.m.: Welfare check
▶ An 18-year-old female from Sixth College was reported as missing after posting that she was “sad” on Facebook. Checks OK.

Last two, however, shows the sad times we live in... Someone calls cops after seeing an asian dude with a binocular, or when a girl posts that she is "sad" on Facebook. What the fuck is going on???

It's just not funny. My friends made the police report at Penn State for entering an unlocked electrical station on campus, leaving a 1/4 keg inside after finishing it, then shutting down power to west campus. That's funnier.

Eh... Funnier how? Funnier in the sense that the maintenance guys had to be called in to restore the power and students not being able to do their studies and whatnot?

We had some students here go into one of the lecture halls in a middle of the night with a ladder and removing every single light bulb in the building. Funny? I guess, unless you are the maintenance crew, who had to spend 4 hours installing new bulbs, that the school had to pay for.

It was in the middle of the night and a matter of flipping the switches on the breakers. It saved the school money for less power consumption

My original post shows real reports submitted to campus police. Your post (and my post about light bulbs) show juvenile pranks that cost universities money. Students cry about tuition being high, but how else would you pay for the work of maintenance and cleaning crews called in to clean up after the little shits who in their drunken stupor decide to do something "funny" like pushing a mail cart off the cliff or painting a statue in rainbow colors?

I don't think it's funny at all. If 90% of the people thinks it's unfunny there is a good chance it is not funny. But then, funny is relative. What is funny to someone may not be funny to somebody else.
