Card numbers/pins/expiration dates DO sometimes get compromised. I once bought a couple surfboards, a camera, and some shirts in Hawaii with a credit card I had never used (it still had the phone 1-800 number to activate on it) I had applied for the card to do a balance transfer at the static intro 8% rate. I still have never made a charge with that card.
p.s. It was the card issuer who alerted me to the charges, since it didn't match my buying "pattern" with them. |

LOL we're not here to "believe" you. we're here to shed some light on the subject. all we're saying is that the website/company itself is "real". you just got jacked somewhere along the way by them or by someone that got your information. that's all so relax. their customer service is another issue.

Yeah, the people here are not against you or not believing you. They are trying to support a GOOD website. Sure, people are idiots and don't read the fine print and bitch about getting "scammed" but it is their own fault.
In your case freecreditreport.com did not scam you (if what you say is legit). Someone else scammed you. Blame the correct people and you won't have anybody arguing with you anymore.
