I need to buy 400 stamps

I'm mailing out about 400 postcards. Does anybody know a cost effective way to do this?

Can't you get one of those print machines that doesn't use a stamp? It prints the postage on it, then charges you.

take them to the post office WITHOUT stamps and tell them to stamp them accordingly. postcards are about $0.30 not $0.44

Next time, use these guys. They do it for you for a fee. Just supply them with the mailing list.
