Cheesy commercial if it is real, IMHO. Definitely dropped the ball after the Hot Wheels and Spy Hunter one.
Easy there, hot shot!

And in case you haven't noticed...I was writing, not talking.

Somebody said something about a Z06 powered G8, well here's a Z06 powered Commodore (same car): http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/28/a...ets-z06-power/

Something tells me we'll never see it in the states since we'll have the new CTS-V. I had an '04 GTO before I got my Z06 - fantastic car for the money...

Very clever commercial. I remember seeing this when on youtube a while back.

To embed a youtube vid, take everything you see in the link after the "v=", copy it, and paste it between [u2b ] *paste here* [/u2b ]. Make sure that you remove the space after the "b" in the brackets.

Now then - my 5.7 liter V8 engine in my last car got the same or better fuel economy as my 335. Same in the city - better on the highway.

??? There weren't lots of stories about the GTO's falling apart. They actually had very good build quality for a GM vehicle. Maybe you've never owned a GM product before.

All you have to do is look to the fuel pump fiasco on the 335s to see something just as comparable as any of the worst problems on the GTO. (In my opinion the worst problem was the struts rubbing the tires.)

My last car was a GTO and other than the strut rub (which the dealer fixed) - I had no issues out of that car.

Yeah, the only problem I ever heard about the GTO's was the rear tire rubbing issues.

actually a C6 Vette gets pretty damn good mileage. Guy that works with me gets 18-21 in town and 29-31 on hwy. Pretty much same as some of us. Only difference is when he stomps the skinny pedal it drops to 6mpg and ours is likely around 10mpg still. LOL
