The Nissan 370z gets reasonally close to what you are looking, 250lbs heavier but counters this with more power than required and is as old school as you could ever want at the right price. Also the old model Z4 3.0si shouldn't be far off the mark.

+1 on the 370z...the upgraded interior with the navi is very nice and the sport package model is awesome. With wheels and a drop they can look so sick!

How do you expect to find a coupe for under 3000lbs for $30k-35k? I'm assuming u want a coupe and not a roadster. In order to get it under 3000lbs you will need to use carbon fiber which is expensive.
What you are asking for sir is impossible with today's technology. |

2011 Mustang GT 5.0 ... 412 hp/390 lb-ft torque .. has Ford's navigation and sync system and an upgraded track package compared to this year's version in case you plan on really beating on it. Much lighter than GM's or Chrysler's offerings too.

problem is car like this doesn't sell. I mean how many 911/cayman/boxter does porshe sell a year? take that and divide by the number of automakers that are going to make the car you are reffering to. How many car can they sell really?
before anyone jump in to say that people can't afford porche, well the cayman/boxter are not expensive by any mean. |
