Saw one at a Starbucks today. Wow...It is one nice looking car. Anyone test drive one yet? Was disappointed that is was 4300lbs, but 470/hp 424tq (crank) off the showroom floor is nice. I think they are about 65-67K.
I think it went up from a 4.4 V8 to a 5.0 V8 in 2010. Also looks like there is another model that gets and additional 40 HP (510hp/460tq crank) called the XFR. XFR base price is around 80k. XFR looks like a 13 flat qtr mile, 0-60 in 4.7 per motortrend: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...nd_design.html Also gets the same supercharger as the Corvette ZR1 ( Eaton Gen 6 ). Car and driver says 4.3 0-60, 9.6 0-100. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...take_road_test |

The XFR is a 5.0SC and it's a brilliant luxury sports saloon which on more than one occasion has not only beat the M5 but the Panamera S and turbo in comparison tests.
It's performance is comparable to that of an M5 though not quite the level of the E63 or RS6. But in my opinion it strikes a best compromise between performance/handling and luxury than any of them. |

Ran in to one the other night... FAF!!!
Trying to torment me with hazzard lights on. Just put my snows on so was not comfy yet with the set-up. Couldnt get a good guage of difference. Basically ran dead even up to X20+ mph. It got whooped by the new CTS-v though...
