Does anyone remember the skit on In Living Color called HANDYMAN!? I thought that was funny as hell when I was a kid, but now I can't believe it was on television. You don't have to buy a bimmer to get a sports car. And a heavy FWD car is far from sporting. I'd rather have a mazdaspeed anything over a wanna-be volvo sports car.

Looks alright. I was a fan of the last bodystyle so we'll see how much this grows on me. I think Volvo makes a quality product, despite what these teenage BMW fanboys are saying.

I know we will never change the world but with the few people that our family members come into contact with they are least will have a different perspective on disability as well and not view them as leapers that you avoid at all costs. |

Leave these stupid personal arguments to PMs. We've seen the disabled argument a million times on this forum.
Anyways, this car completely lacks any sort of athletic proportions. Besides the butch front and the swoopy roofline, it hardly looks like it's a sport sedan. And who said this resembles the just-spied F30? Really, even at this point you can tell they'll be nothing alike based on proportions alone.

I can't get over how poorly executed these proportions are. The front overhang is...well it's fucking enormous. The beltline is far from dynamic or speedy, and it's not even necessarily elegant. The sides look like slabs, the DLO is too small, and the fenders are nonexistant.
Sorry, again, this is hardly a sport sedan.

I appreciate that, but it is an ongoing problem on this forum where such comments/jokes are dropped so cavalierly without any thought for fellow members who live with such difficulties.

Not a direct competitor, I dont think volvo has the chasis and driving dynamics down yet but it may be nipping on bmw's tail. Audi has certainly caught up now and they have a prettier package. Not everyone care for performance and when they do some may prefer real through bred like a Cayman or Elise.
BMW is still sitting high but in competitive environment one can't assume that will continue |

Well see.
I loved my S60R, good car. Ran rings around any non-M 3er at the time, and could keep right up with an S4. Also it was priced like a 325, only much better equiped. Best interior out of any car I've owned, best stereo, and by FAR the best seats. Really a very good car. Not quite as quick as a 335i, but also a better handling and brakes with electronic chassis control (push button) like what just went into the M3. Very under rated car, and if I find myself in need of an AWD DD with $20k to throw around, it'd be a no brainer for me.
