BBM 5.0

The new BBM is finally out, go get it from the app world...pretty cool but makes bbm seem sort of "msn live messenger" but with a few other cool features.

i've had bbm 5 for months. in fact, i made a thread about it in july.

Fast forward to last night, I download it again with hopes that all of the above was fixed... Nope same crap just official.

Taking it off as I write this.

If you got it in July it was the beta, and it was not compatible with beta OS 5.0. The new bbm works with the beta 5.0 OS...almost all native and 3rd party apps work for OS 5.0 which means the official release for it is right around the corner.

jus dont like the file transferring and how u have to save the pic might go back to the original

Slowed down my Bold big time. There is some serious typing delay/lag, I can no longer just view a picture, instead I have to save it, then view in in the media section. Group chats caused such bad lag my phone would pretty much come to a complete stop. All this for a gimmicky barcode and some miniature avatars.

Not sure which has been the biggest RIM failure, BBM5.0 or the Storm..
