uh, proper background removal is a bit time consuming...here's a 2 minute cut. that's all I'm willing to do, especially since it's such a tiny ass file.

i used CS4, then i too the Magic Wand tool, made a rough selection around the subject, then Select > Refine Edge and just cleaned up the selection a bit, feathered it and whatnot. there was a little outline of blue around the man, so i used Select > Color Range [Sampled Colors] and the 'Add to Sample' Eyedropper tool to select the blue outline and remove it
