Question for all you Roth IRA people
So I have finally recovered from a horrendous loss in my IRA with MIOFX and it tanking. I stayed with it and bought shares while it was low and it evened itself out and I am not sure how I feel about keeping it. My question is is there anything fancy I need to know when selling? I assume the money from the sale just goes back in purchasing power within my IRA and I can split it all up from there into different stocks or another mutual fund or two. is this correct?

That's exactly correct. You will sell the shares and it will all go into cash. From there you can choose other investments (stocks, bonds, CD's, mutual funds, etc..) depending on what your financial institution offers
