Holy crap, that doesn't look good, it looks amazing. I would buy a PS3 for this game. Unfortunately, it won't be out until Summer 2036, and I'll be an old man.

Is this the "full version"? not the crap i thought was when i bought my PS3. The preview (if you will) was pretty intense as far as graphics and reality of cars goes. I will admit... after i played it an beat it, i read the title closer and saw prologue, i felt like an idiot.

but i have never claimed to be a brilliant person either

Words can't describe how excited I am about this game. I bought a PS3 for two reasons:

1. Blu-ray player
2. GT5

I'm hoping to get a Logitech G25 wheel when it GT5 comes out too. Hopefully I'll be done with the CPA exam by then so I can just play the game free of the guilt of "you should be studying and not playing this game!"

This with the new PS3 slim will be a killer combo. My GF got me this a year ago for GT5: Prologue and when I hook it up and sit 3 feet away from my 42in TV it looks like you are really driving the car:

I have a flawless 60GB and I'm considering selling it to get a slim. I don't have any PS2 games, so I don't need the backwards compatibility/OS install/etc., and wouldn't mind the smaller size of the slim.

BTW, for those who want to buy a PS3, Sony is dropping the price on the 80Gb down to 299. The new console is smaller and lighter; unlike my aircraft- carrying console heavy ad bulky.

I too can't wait for this game to come out. One of the main reasons I bought a PS3 when it launched. Now 4yrs later I am still waiting! By the time this game comes out, I will probably be 30 (will be 27 in Sept).

By the time PD releases this game, the new M5 will be have been out for a year, as well as plenty of new other cars. Alot of the cars will be outdated, if you will.

I think Forza Motorsports 3 looks far better but that's only available for 360.
