Just uploaded a few pics from my trip to Yellowstone...its absolutely beautiful there! I bought a D90 2 days before the trip, my first ever dslr, and I think the purchase was well worth the pictures that resulted. As you can see, even a noob can learn how to properly use a dslr outside of auto mode if you just get out there and shoot (well, maybe I got lucky lol) Here are a few, Im still working on getting the rest onto flickr:

These are all hand held shots without a tripod, I didnt want to carry one around. These pics were all at mammoth hotsprings, in the north west corner of the park

Great shots! I've got some of these exact same shots that were taken about two years ago. They don't look this good, but when I get home on Tuesday I'll post a couple of them. It will be cool to see how much the formations have changed over the last two years.

They were touched up in about 30 seconds because I took over 600 pictures and processing that many pictures would have taken a very long time. The colors there are amazing and didn't need much/if any processing. The elevation is about 8000 ft so the air is very clean and clear which shows in how blue the sky is. The place is amazing

It was a blast with the d90, I'm very happy with my purchase. It seemed like everyone there had some sort of dslr.
