I haven't seen a DAMN thing about the wii. I know NOTHING about it. I was just curious if anyone wants one. In my experience/opinion, Ninitendo is for little kids.

LOL... my bro played it at EBGames and said it was lots of fun. It's also the cheapest of the consoles, $250 I think. The new controller is what sets it apart... definitely try checking it out at EBGames or Best Buy if they got them set up... I want to just to see how it is.

from what i've heard the game play is very fun due to the controls but it only play at 480 on an hdtv so i'm not very interested.

My roommate just picked one up. I am not really a video gamer (stopped at n64) but this thing is pretty awesome. From what I can tell the xbox and the ps3 are all super graphics super powerful blah blah but they really aren't as fun as fucking wii tennis with the motion senso nunchuck.

The graphics (i've seen so far) are pretty crude, the resolution seems standard, but damn it is a lot of fun. playing xbox 360 was not as fun as the wii. In my opinion the controller is the next step for video games, not the graphics. As long as we're still pushing puttons and moving a mini joy stick the games can't improve that much.

the wii is going in the right direction, there are so many cool things you can do with that little wand. I feel like with xbox and ps3 we're just going to get the same types of games, just better graphics and online integration or whatever.

I got mine!!! I just saw this post! I got mine at 9 this morning. I spent the night at best buy in manassas va, I got there at midnight and I was number 31 out of 86.......I love it!!!! I got zedla, but I can't stop playing wii sports! Totally worth the wait!!

imagine spending the night at the dealer waiting to purchase the next M3.....

and selling it on eBay the next day for 2x or 3x's the MSRP........

why wait overnite at for a wii? there was 2 million units for sale today 5 times the number of PS3s and there is still another 2 million more ready to be shipped.

the wait for the ps3 was deffinately worth it, not terribly impressed by the wii, graphics are incomparable, but deffinately the best game ever from nintendo was super smash bros, only reason i would get the console is for the next super smash bros

How can PS3 be worth the wait when it has no decent launch games? The next gen games for PS3 won't be out until late next year.

Anyone know how the Wii situation is in Canada, specifically the GTA? I'm thinking of getting one early next week if possible. I have a friend who is the manager of an EBGames but he's away these couple of days so I can't ask. I read though that big stores like Best Buy and Future Shop received up to 60 units for launch day here.

Coming out nov.19 but thats already passed.......got a preorder on the premium wii. Great gameplay but the graphics are not for serious hardcore gamers.
