I'm not selling an iPhone, but a used iPhone is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it. No more, and no less. I don't think it's appropriate to try to tell people how much a particular item should sell for, that is up to the buyer to decide.

and your 100% right, the phone is worth what the buyer is willing to pay. im not trying to tell people how much the phone should sell for, just showing them my opinion, most will agree and some will not but w/e and maybe i opened the eyes to some. just posting my thought on the matter. other than my opinion everything else is solid fact

But not everyone can simply unlock their iphone, yes its easy to many, hard as shit to some especially when things do not go the same way

very true but iphone has a great marketing campaign. other than the stuff mentioned before 3g vs 3gs the compass which can also be bought as an app for regular 3g and the video recorder w/ editor also a 3g app minus the 3mp from 2mp camera.

also there were many complaints on the 3g network that it did not live to described expectations and i feel the 3gs with double the network speed is no exception. as for the extended battery life tests show it is only for wifi feature being on/off.

the major upgrade on the 3gs is the processor and open gl video other than that, expect for a new iphone 3g "x" or even a 4g model comming very soon

the compass apps suck, they require you to point to the sun, and do not work with the maps, anyhow, I highly doubt you sold it for $450. It's much more than $99 unlocked.
