Thumbs up Here's mine!

Instead of starting another non-car-related thread and pissing everybody off, I figured I'd keep this thread alive for a while longer. Here's my Golden, "Hercules"Name: Hercules_edited1.jpg

I don't know about scratched to hell, but if you want pristine hardwood floors to stay that way I don't suggest you get any kind of dog.

extremely hyper especially when you have company over but thats because boxers love people so much. your house wont get trashed but it will need extra cleaning and as far as hard wood floors go mine are scratched a little (and i did trim their nails) but i dont care because i can just get them refinished.
the most important thing with boxers is that you really need a fenced in yard for them to run around in so they can burn off some of that energy and i highly recommend obedience training.

Here are a few of my boxer. She likes to take over my bed. The second one is from Halloween.

Exactly. I'm getting a dog this spring, and I'm pretty much resigned to my place taking a little wear and tear... hopefully nothing a fresh coat of paint and a refinish of the floors won't fix when it comes time to sell. Oh, and maybe a few new mouldings too.

Something like my sofa or bed getting chewed up would be much harder to take.

I don't know how much it costs, but my parents did it in their house a few years back and it was amazing how it looked when it was done.

It was a big job though since you have to basically empty out any rooms you're doing it in (in their case the entire ground floor) and vacate the house for a few days.
