up and coming photography: need you recommendation for a professional web developer**
hey all,
now that i'm getting the ball rolling on my professional photo career, I'm looking to upgrade my website. I'd appreciate it if any of you professional photographers could recomment me to a web developer you've had a pleasant experience with. I had my friend develop the site I use now but its really bare and its not what I want to portray to my clients. I found www.livebooks.com and they seem pretty good, they did Chase Jarvis' site and it looks like their focus is on building photographers' websites so they are familiar with the general setup. Any input is greatly appreciated! My current website is www.papazphotography.com in case you're wondering but I haven't updated any of the images since early Nov. I'm going to try and post my most relevant stuff tomorrow (sat) so check back then if you're interested. I do mostly event photography now because I'm still at my day job and i'm going to photo school as well. thanks guys, hov |

Hey idk if youve heard of WIX but thats the site I use for diff things, even my myspace, I know theres A LOT you can create using them, you can check out my site I created so you can get an idea of how it looks..
my site is: www.wix.com/TT135i/MOI (if you click "About Me", "Interests", "Photo Gallery", "Contact" it takes you to all my pages and they all have diff music and videos, also in my photo gallery if you click any of the photos itll take you to diff galleries of photos in my myspace acct (you can get photos to take you to other sites as well) (note, I use the free version) the site to create your own or check out others is : www.wix.com maybe you need something more professional but I thought Id post this.. let me know what you think.

Do you need a flash website or HTML? Click on my sig pic to look at my site. I can make you any style of HTML site you want, but my flash knowledge is very limited.

thanks so far guys, i'm looking for flash actually. i want something more professional than wix. also, i dont want to actually make the site myself, i would like to work with someone who knows what type of packages/setups will be more usefull for photographers, so its not just a run of the mill website.
if you take a look at the examples on www.livebooks.com you will see the look i'm going for. I may end up using them but i still want to glance over my options before jumping. |

We use DhJazzDesign for our site. Check out their work at:
http://www.dhjazzdesign.com/ They do a lot of work with musicians, so cost is reasonable. Dave

No offense taken.
I thought he was looking for a site aimed at adults.
