B8 Audi A4 2.0T tuning - GIAC comes out with the flash...
Looks like Garrett Lim at GIAC has been busy with the new Audi A4 tuning for the 2.0T engine. The attached graph show stock and the california 91 octane program. When they get their hands on a 6spd..they will come out with a 100 octane version that is switchable from their tool that plugs into the OBD2 port.
This is not crank data..this is at the wheels. So, 250 ft lbs at the wheels with just the 91 program and the automatic isnt bad at all. I am actually quite interested in replacing my troublesome 335 with this car...seriously.

Interesting. I wonder how much power they can crank out of the higher output 2.0T? Maybe a poor man's S4.

Can't wait for APR to churn out some turbo upgrades on that thing. It'd be a beast.

Apparently the B7 and B8 are significantly different tuning according to sources.

The new 2.0T basically have bulletproof DV's and PCVs. All of the problems faced by 2.0T engines in the past have been replaced with new parts.
I ordered my new DV from the 09s! If GIAC can get past some of the new restrictions in the new ECU, hopefully it'll churn out more power. For AWD, that is pretty decent with just a flash. I upgraded my ECU with Revo and made 233whp and 263wtq via mustang dyno. There is definite potential in the new 2.0T engines. good luck |
