The Highs

The Lows

The grip of 0.87 g is "not impressive by the standards of this class."

Mark Gillies: "The G35 also brings up another comparison, to wit: Why on earth would one buy a Lexus IS350? The Lexus isn't appreciably quicker, doesn't look as good, and is a fairly anodyne driving experience, whereas the G35 is a very soulful machine. The IS has a more beautifully wrought interior than the G35's (much improved) cabin, but that's about its only advantage."

That is gonna be a crazy car.
0-60 in 5.2sec. and with a phenomenal sound system and room enough for 5 comfortably, like I had been stating way before it was released for testing, this will be BMWs biggest competition.

It's going to get even crazier when it eventually gets that 3.7L V6. That thing will probably be pushing 320-325hp and 280-290 lb/ft.

When did they say they they were going to change the engine? They just created an all new VQ engine.

The point about the interior is what turned me away when I was looking last year and ended up buying my 330i. Sure it may look good on the outside, but I spend my time in the car driving it, not outside the car looking at it. If the interior is cheap then I'll pass. Which is exactly what I did.
