First time selling a car

Hi everyone: I sold my 2003 MINI Cooper on Sunday. However, I am not handing it over until August 5th, the day before I go to my PCD! I did get a deposit. I am in Florida and want to know what all I need to do to transfer ownership to the buyer. Do I just need to have the title transferred?

I don't want the buyer to know I am new at this. lol

Thanks, grant

1. Title transfer
2. Bill of Sale stating the car is being sold "AS IS" give buyer a copy and keep one for your records.
3. Release of Liability should be filed with your local DMV right away.
4. Remove from your insurance policy.
