Favorite Top Gear Episode

So what is your favorite Top Gear Episode:iono:

I would go with the limo or caravan.

The amphibious car episode almost had me in tears. Mounting an outboard on the back of a beater Toyota pickup? Brilliant!

Ah - fast rides in B-vans, anyone around here hear of a Quigley?

How's that for a brazen daylight attempt to hijack a thread. ; -)

I personally LOVE the Zonda F episode. Brings the young guy to the brink of tears driving it! (forgot his name!) The sound that the F produces is pure SEX!!! Listen for yourself >>>

***WARNING TISSUES MAY BE NEEDED FOR THE VIEWING OF THE FOLLOWING VIDEOS***

If you couldn't tell the Zonda F is my dream car. In bare Carbon Fiber ofcourse!

Has to be the super car trip for me. Jeremy in his Ford GT, James in a Ferrari modena and Richard in a Zonda. Whole episode is littered with them just making complete fools of themselves in the supercars - grid locking Paris after getting stuck in a Parisian underground car park - having to constanly fill up the Ford GT with gas.

Best bit is when Richard is winding the car up a twisty mountain road with sreious drops on each side, waxing lyrical about boy hood dreams; he gives the Zonda a little too much right foot and the back twitches out. He corrects quite nicely. But the look on his face is one of pure terror. He utters. "I've got it, I wasn't scared". Then he screams at the car "You're supposed to have traction control!!!" Classic.

My favorite was:

1. Caravan - did they really set that fire or was it staged??
2. amphibious car - hmm I guess any episode where they nearly kill themselves is a good one =P

P.S. - Thanks to art_hugo and Harold for fixing my posting problem! =]

Does anyone know if the 135 was reviewed by Jeremy on TopGear? If so, what season/episode?

The 135i was NOT reviewed by Top Gear. However, it was reviewed by Fifth Gear. Tiff Neddell reviewed the 135i vs the Cayman S. Tiff however used to be in Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson.

I've heard Top Gear is coming on again on June 22, o maybe the 135i will be on that series.

btw as of this second there is a small marathon of Top Gear going on on BBC America. Season 10 and ive seen all of them like 5 times, but ...its Top Gear

My personal favorite is when Jeremy tries to kill an old Toyota pickup. When they pulled it from the ocean and it started after a little WD-40 I nearly pooped myself!

BMW 330d

My favorite episode is the 24 hour endurance race in their BMW330d. Gotta love their two "corperate sponsors"...

Favorite episode is when Clarkson and May drove to the magnetic north pole in a modified Toyota Hilux. It was epic!

Season 10 Episode 1. It perfectly and completely harmonizes exactly what makes a Top Gear episode: awesome cars, gorgeous cinematography, and brilliantly funny commentary. It also embodies all the emotions that are invoked by being a petrolhead. I can't wait to see what the next season has in store for us.

I liked their 60 minute specials--Africa and US road trips. Space shuttle version is also one of my favorites -- let's see if you commit that much budget to the US version NBC!

I don't actually think they even compared it to a Cayman S, it was a standard Cayman..which is odd..you would think they would have picked the Cayman S as the more comparable car.

But I think they picked the Cayman based on price since its a lot closer than the S

Clarkson did review the 135i:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/dri...cle3103294.ece

"The fact of the matter is this. The 135 coupé is the best car BMW makes. I have no hesitation at all, then, in giving this long-awaited return to form the rare accolade of five stars."
