Audi Driving Experience.

I went to Audi's driving experience course today and it was a blast. The drivers were mature and there was no over crowding issue. We all pushed the cars hard but everyone respected the cars. If you knock over cones the instructor gives better driving techniques instead of scolding you. I really wish BMW can hold similar events.

I didn't get a chance to drive the new TT but the funnest car I drove is the A3, although understeering a Q7 or A8L around a decreasing radius turn is fun as well. The S4 has power but you really feel its weight.

Yes for a low price of $595.00 you can drive a RS4 and R8 in a 1/2 day program. I rather save the money for my 135i mods. :-)

The introductory course (free) let you drive the A8, Q7, A3, new TT, A5, S5.

Is it open to general public? Or it's exclusively for existing owners?

It's called the Ultimate Driving Experience, and they rotate the type of car you drive from year to year. That event is how I got interested in autocross, back in 1998, and have been doing so ever since.

They usually have the Ultimate Drive cars at that event too, where you drive the Susan Komen BMWs around the area for a ~20 minute drive. For this piece, they have pretty much every BMW available to drive.
